Kicking My Blog Back to Life

I’ll be the first to admit it: this blog has been neglected. Content-wise, it’s a bit of a mess. I never really enjoyed writing as a kid. Small talk drained me, and long-form writing felt like a chore.
Lately, I’ve been revisiting this blog, and it’s made me realise just how far I’ve come… and how much of my old content I’d rather forget.
Recently, I decided to give this site a good kick up the arse and finally commit to writing more regularly. But while updating the site (and migrating it from Kirby to WordPress), I discovered just how awful some of my older posts are. They feel forced and awkward, as if I were writing because I felt I had to, not because I wanted to.
And now I’m stuck with a dilemma:
Do I delete the old content, or keep it for posterity?
Part of me wants to bin it all; it makes me cringe, and I’m not sure it adds much value. But another part of me wonders if someone out there might find it useful, even in its rough state.
Still undecided. But at least I’m writing again.
For now, I think I’ll leave the old stuff where it is. It’s part of my journey, even if it makes me wince. Maybe it’s a reminder of how far I’ve come and how much room there is to grow.
So here’s the plan: fresh start, better posts, and a commitment to write because I want to, not because I feel I should. If someone out there finds value in the new (or even the old) content, that’s a bonus.
Onwards.
